IWS Online School Launches in Bangladesh, Offering Global-Standard Education
IWS Online School, recognized by the United Kingdom Register of Learning Providers (UKRLP) and the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), has officially commenced operations in Bangladesh. Designed as a cutting-edge platform for next-generation learners, the school offers a comprehensive curriculum for students from Grade 1 to A Levels.
According to sources, IWS Online School is the first digital institution in Bangladesh accredited by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE). The school aims to foster academic excellence while equipping students with essential life skills.
The launch event was inaugurated by Zahid Uddin Khan, Managing Director of Best Shirts Limited. Distinguished guests included Ashfaqur Rahman, Chief Business Officer of Acme Consumer Products Ltd.; Md. Shariful Ahsan, SVP and Head of SME Marketing at Jamuna Bank PLC; Mohammad Salauddin Hazarie, Executive Vice President and Team Head at Prime Bank PLC; Md. Moinul Haque, General Manager of Project Management, Product, and Technology at bKash Ltd.; Shirin Jahan, Chief Operating Officer of CS Meta Ltd.; and Sajjad Hussain Farhan, Chief Technical Officer of CS Meta Ltd.
Representing the Philippine Society of Bangladesh (PSB), Joy De La Cruz was welcomed as a guest of honor. Other notable attendees included Md. Monirul Hasan, Managing Partner of Four D Solutions; Dr. Md. Abu Sayed (Tito), Managing Director of Prelink Securities Ltd.; and Arif Chowdhury, CEO of My Uniform.
Maat Vickery, Head of Strategic Development at IWS Online School, highlighted the platform’s popularity among students aged 6 to 18. He assured that IWS offers tailored, state-of-the-art technology to ensure the highest quality education for learners.
